About the Department

Sculpture, which incorporates the third dimension, differs from other branches of the visual arts. The aim of the education is to provide prospective artists interested in this field with all the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills related to their discipline. Throughout this process, students are expected to develop their own original artistic language in line with their creative ability and personality. During the four-year education, students have the opportunity to become familiar with different materials (clay, plaster, wood, stone, metal, polyester and others), and by producing designs with the artistic language they acquire, they are prepared to become competent artists of our country's cultural and artistic life.
