Musicology is a scholarly discipline that examines music in its historical, theoretical, systematic, and cultural dimensions. This program within the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts approaches music not solely from a performance perspective but from research and analysis standpoints. Students are educated within a broad academic framework spanning from music history to music theory, from ethnomusicology to music aesthetics.
