The Department of Foreign Languages at the School of Foreign Languages trains individuals with academic depth and professional competency in the English language field. The program offers comprehensive education in core areas including English language and literature, linguistics (phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics), translation theories and practices, language teaching methods, and intercultural communication. Instruction is conducted in Turkish and English; students develop their language skills to an academic level.
