Department of Management and Organization

Business Administration Program founded in Department of Management and Organization provides necessary knowledge and skills for the students required for a successful career in management. Candidates must have a high school (or equivalent) diploma and required written entrance test result, named as Student Selection and Placement Test centrally organized by Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Associate's Degree program in Management and Organization makes the students have a high level of education including concrete principles and experiential learning abilities. Business administration program handles with the processes related to provide effective and efficient use of resources, strategical management, marketing, financing, accounting, human resources and modern management techniques. In order to graduate from this program students have to complete all courses (total of 120 ECTS) and obtain at least 2.0 weighed GPA of 4.00. Within the two-year education in the program of Business Administration, it is aimed that students might become qualified employees in their career, start up a successful business, became an entrepreneur and assist the public administrators for both the public and private sector. Also, the students might keep on related Bachelor's Degree programs through succeeding in DGS. Assessment and grading system for the courses are defined in detailed way according to Mersin University Education and Examination Regulations in “Course Teaching Plans”.
