About the Department
Purpose of the Department: The Office Technologies and Data Management Program, opened within the Office Services and Secretarial Department, aims to train the qualified intermediate personnel that public and private sector organizations need for their office services. The program aims to train well-equipped and responsible professionals who can effectively use contemporary office technologies, master data management processes, have developed communication skills, act in accordance with protocol rules, and support the business processes of managers. It also aims to equip students with competencies in areas such as professional ethics, digital competence, time management, documentation, archiving, correspondence techniques, and meeting and organization skills, thereby preparing graduates to adapt to the current expectations of the business world. Mission: In line with the principles of sustainability, to be an innovative and professional program that trains office managers, executive assistants and office specialists who comply with national and international standards, have effective management and organization skills, respond to the needs of the business world, contribute to productivity and increase social benefit.
Career Opportunities
Graduates can work in private sector businesses and public institutions in management, office, sales-marketing, logistics, customer relations and operations units, and can start their own businesses depending on their field. They can transfer to related undergraduate programmes through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
