About the Department
The aim of the Surveying and Cadastre program is to train applied manpower working between engineers and workers who will personally work on the construction and application of maps and plans that form the infrastructure of important projects such as dams, zoning, cadastre, roads, irrigation and drainage. Surveying and Cadastre technicians have opportunities to find jobs and work in all public institutions and private organizations. In the future, our country will continue to need trained, knowledgeable and skilled applied personnel in the fields of Surveying and Cadastre. The courses of the Surveying and Cadastre Program are taught in Turkish, and the aim of the program is to produce high-quality graduates equipped with the latest theoretical and applied skills and capable of using the latest technologies efficiently. The Surveying and Cadastre program is an associate degree program that trains people working between geodesy and photogrammetry (surveying-geomatics) engineers and surveying-cadastre technicians in the production of current and zoned maps.
Career Opportunities
Graduates can work as technicians in public institutions and private sector organizations operating in the relevant field, in production, maintenance and repair, assembly, quality and technical service units, and can also start their own businesses. They can transfer to related undergraduate programmes through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
