Announcement Regarding Special Student Applications
ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING SPECIAL STUDENT APPLICATIONS
Due to the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023, the Council of Higher Education has made a decision regarding the special student application process to ensure the uninterrupted continuation of education for students studying at Adıyaman University, İskenderun Technical University, Hatay Mustafa Kemal University, İnönü University, Malatya Turgut Özal University, Kahramanmaraş İstiklal University, and Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University.
In accordance with the decision of the Council of Higher Education dated July 29, 2026, and numbered 50307, for the 2026-2027 academic year only, students enrolled in the aforementioned universities who request it will be given the opportunity to study as special students in the Theology Undergraduate Program at Mersin University Faculty of Theology, provided that a suitable class is available and the program is equivalent to their current program and has the same language of instruction.

Start: August 1, 2026
End: September 14, 2026
Application Method
Applications must be submitted in person or through a person with a notarized power of attorney to the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Theology, Mersin University, by filling out the Special Student Application Form attached.
Applications submitted by mail/cargo will not be accepted.
Required Documents
Student Certificate
The submitted document must be wet-signed, electronically signed, or obtained via e-Government.
Applications submitted after the specified application deadline will not be considered.
