A conference titled “The Importance of the Social Security System, Rights, and Obligations” was held in our department.

As part of Social Security Week activities, an informational conference was organized for our students.

The event, held on May 12, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., featured Mr. Ali Koç, the Provincial Director of Social Security (SGK) in Mersin, as the speaker. Mr. Koç delivered a comprehensive presentation to our students under the title “The Importance of the Social Security System, Rights, and Obligations,” thereby contributing to raising our students’ awareness of how the social security system operates.

At the conclusion of the event, Mersin SGK Provincial Director Mr. Ali Koç was presented with a “Certificate of Appreciation” by our department chair, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin ERİŞTİ, in recognition of his valuable contributions and the informative presentation he delivered.
