Department Orientation Event

With the support of the Department of Civil Engineering, an introductory and orientation meeting was held for our first-year students on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in Room C of our university’s Uğur Oral Cultural Center. The event, organized to help newly enrolled students adjust to university life and the department, was attended by our department’s academic staff. During this meeting, our department faculty members informed the students about their respective fields of study and the courses they teach as part of our curriculum. They discussed the importance of a Civil Engineering education and the qualities necessary to be exemplary students with a strong sense of responsibility. Our students also had the opportunity to ask our faculty members any questions they had or were curious about during the meeting. Following the meeting, refreshments were served in the lobby to help our students adapt to the department and foster a sense of belonging.
