Electrical and Energy Department Students and Faculty Members Continue Their Mini Football Activities

First-year students and faculty members of the Electrical and Energy Department at Mersin University's Vocational School of Technical Sciences came together for a futsal event, relieving stress and fostering camaraderie.

The match, which included first-year students who started the Electrical Program this year, also saw valuable faculty members participating alongside the young people. The event, aimed at facilitating students' adaptation to university life and strengthening their relationships with academic staff, was quite competitive and enjoyable.

The friendly attitudes and high energy displayed throughout the match elevated the spirit of solidarity and unity within the department from the very first year. First-year students expressed great satisfaction with this sincere interaction that moved from the classroom to the football field, and were excited to be able to communicate with their professors outside the field as well. Faculty members emphasized that education should not be limited to the classroom, and that such social activities significantly increase students' sense of belonging and motivation for learning.
