Independent Auditing, Importance of Independent Auditing, and Independent Auditors Conference

The Accounting and Taxation Department of the Vocational School of Social Sciences organized a conference on Independent Auditing, the Importance of Independent Auditing, and Independent Auditors. The event was attended by final-year students from the Accounting and Taxation Department and final-year students from the Finance Department of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.

The conference featured Mr. Bora Tanrısınatapan, Partner and Adana Office Leader of Ernst & Young's Audit Department, and Mr. Özge Demirci, Senior Manager of Ernst & Young's Audit Department. Mr. Demirci informed the students about Ernst & Young's position in the world and in Turkey, and its human resources opportunities. Mr. Tanrısınatapan provided information to the students about career steps and independent auditing activities.

The conference, which became a highly interactive presentation with questions and answers, concluded with the Head of the Accounting and Taxation Department, Lecturer Dr. Emrah Yıldız, presenting certificates of appreciation to the speakers for their contributions.
