The doors of our museum were opened to the students of Private Mersin İsabet Primary School.

On Thursday, October 1, 2026, our museum hosted students from the 4/B class of Private Mersin İsabet Primary School. Accompanied by their class teacher, Ayfer Cice, and assistant teacher, Ahsen Kalay, the students were welcomed by our museum team.

The young explorers first observed the fish in the pool located in our museum garden. Afterward, they examined the bones of the Fin Whale—which is currently undergoing renovation and maintenance—and learned about the species' natural habitat and physical characteristics.

Our museum team provided the students with information about the marine species on display, covering topics such as life in the sea, the importance of biodiversity, and the various aquatic organisms, while illustrating these concepts using the exhibits.

The visit, which the students followed with great interest, concluded with a question-and-answer session—a staple of our museum visits.
