We hosted Biology and Environmental Engineering students at our museum.

A group of students from our university's Faculty of Science (Department of Biology) and Faculty of Engineering (Department of Environmental Engineering) visited our museum, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Ayşe Everest, a faculty member in the Department of Biology.
The visit took place on October 1, 2026, and involved students enrolled in the "Environmental Biology" and "Non-Seed Plants" courses taught by Prof. Dr. Ayşe Everest. The opening remarks were delivered by Prof. Dr. Ayşe Everest, who also serves as a Board Member of the MEU Institute of Marine Sciences (DEBİM), the institution to which our museum is affiliated. The discussion touched upon the general importance of museum activities in our country.
Our museum team provided information to these aspiring young scientists regarding the species exhibited in the museum. The visit—which included presentations on marine life, ecosystems, and biodiversity, as well as a question-and-answer session—concluded with our team bidding farewell to the students and expressing the hope of seeing them again.
