World Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Day Awareness Event Held

An awareness event for “World Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Day” was organised by the Social Responsibility and Projects Committee of our Faculty on 22 May 2026.

The event was attended by the Dean of our Faculty, Prof. Necmiye CANACANKATAN; Vice Deans Assoc. Prof. Mahmut ÜLGER and Assist. Prof. Ş. Efsun ANTMEN; Faculty Secretary Volkan DARÇIN; as well as academic staff and students.

As part of the event, students of our Faculty set up an information stand at Sayapark Shopping Centre to raise public awareness of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Visitors to the stand were provided with information on the prevalence and symptoms of MS, associated risk factors, potential health complications, preventive approaches, and available treatment options. Informative brochures were also distributed to support public understanding of the disease.

Through this social responsibility initiative, our students contributed to raising public awareness of Multiple Sclerosis and highlighting the importance of recognising the disease and its impact on individual and public health as part of World Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Day.
