Zero Waste Commission Working Meeting Held at Girişim Limanı!

The Zero Waste Commission Working Meeting took place at Girişim Limanı, chaired by Mersin Deputy Governor Faik Arıcan and attended by our University’s Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hakan Öztürk, Mersin Provincial Director of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Hasan Alan, and relevant stakeholders.

Prior to the meeting, our Center Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gürbüz Çomak, briefed the participants on Girişim Limanı’s activities, its entrepreneurs, and the work being carried out. The participants also met with entrepreneurs operating at the center, learned about their ventures, and exchanged views.

As part of the program, a visit was made to the Mersin University National Technology Workshop—which operates within our center and is supported by the TÜBİTAK 4003-T National Technology Workshops Support Program—to examine the workshop's operational areas and activities.

Following the visit, the Zero Waste Commission Working Meeting was held to evaluate the agenda items.
