CONTINUING EDUCATION APPLICATION AND RESEARCH CENTER

Our History 

Mersin Üniversitesi Sürekli Eğitim Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi (MEÜSEM) 2547 sayılı Yükseköğretim Kanunu'na bağlı olarak 3/5/2002 tarihli 24763 sayılı Resmî Gazete ‘de yayımlanan yönetmeliğin yürürlüğe girmesiyle faaliyetlerine başlamıştır. 

To educate qualified individuals committed to Atatürk's principles and reforms, who uphold secularism and republican values, who are hardworking, who utilize their knowledge and experience for the benefit of all, who think in light of universal values in a modern, creative and positive manner, who are productive and represent their country worldwide; to conduct high-level scientific research, produce knowledge and technology, and contribute to regional, national, and sustainable development by offering these to society.

To become a quality-oriented, inclusive, and internationally recognized university that integrates its graduates, employees, and society with lifelong learning through the knowledge, technology, and art produced by education at the national and international level. Our goals include ensuring university-society communication by developing stakeholder management, providing network and internet services and technical support, providing physical, social, and academic support services to interns, and ensuring human resources management to increase personal competence.

The purpose of the Center is to plan and organize all kinds of participation/certification programs, courses, and other services related to lifelong learning and education that fall outside the scope of associate, undergraduate, and graduate programs; to contribute to the development of cooperation between the university and public, private sector, and international organizations; and to facilitate services/production and/or publication related to all education and training areas that fall outside the scope of associate, undergraduate, and graduate programs.
