What is TURAK?

The Tourism Education Evaluation and Accreditation Board is an independent quality assurance organization that evaluates and accredits the education quality of higher education programs in the field of tourism in Turkey. TURAK's primary purpose is to evaluate the education-teaching processes of tourism education programs in line with national quality standards, to encourage continuous improvement of programs, and to increase the competitiveness of graduates in the sector.

ACCREDITATION STATUS OF OUR PROGRAM

Erdemli Vocational School Department of Travel-Tourism and Entertainment Services, Tourism Animation Formal Education Associate Degree Program has earned the right to receive FULL ACCREDITATION for 3+3 years, valid between December 31, 2025 and December 31, 2031 as a result of the evaluation process conducted by the Tourism Education Evaluation and Accreditation Board.

This decision demonstrates that our program's education-teaching activities meet the quality standards set by TURAK and that the program is conducted with a continuous improvement approach.

 

IMPORTANCE OF THE ACCREDITATION PROCESS

Accreditation demonstrates that the education quality of the program is assured and that the curriculum, academic staff, infrastructure, and education processes comply with established quality standards.

This process also aims to contribute to the continuous development of education quality, increase the competitiveness of graduates in the sector, and strengthen the national and international recognition of the program.

Our program continues to carry out quality improvement activities with the contributions of students, academic and administrative staff, and sector stakeholders.
