Technical Infrastructure

With its contemporary technological infrastructure and professional equipment, our TV studios, technical units such as dubbing and editing rooms, as well as our radio news center, newspaper and photography workshops, and computer laboratory are available for our students' use.

The technical infrastructure capabilities of the department are at a high level to support the program's educational objectives and outcomes. The first unit established in the faculty was the Radio Studio, which was brought to life with professional equipment. Mersin University Radio, broadcasting on the 102.8 FM band, is an important practice area for students. The radio has been broadcasting terrestrially and online since 2005. When our Faculty moved to its new building in 2009, the Radio Studio was further expanded. Students benefit from the Computer Laboratory, Radio Studio, Television Studio, Film Studio, Editing Rooms, MIDI Studio, Darkroom, News Center, and Production-Direction Workshops.
