The Faculty of Theology was established by Official Gazette Decree No. 2991 dated December 7, 2016.
Our faculty aims to educate individuals who interpret religion in accordance with Islamic values and contemporary needs, and who are equipped to respond to the religious needs of society.
Our faculty began accepting its first students in 2019 and graduated in 2023.
There is no Arabic preparatory class at our faculty.
Our faculty comprises three departments and 20 majors.
The Department of Philosophy and Religious Sciences offers the following departments: Religious Education, Philosophy of Religion, Psychology of Religion, Sociology of Religion, History of Religion, History of Philosophy, Logic, and Islamic Philosophy;
The Department of Fundamental Islamic Sciences offers the following departments: Arabic Language and Rhetoric, Hadith, Kalam, Quran Recitation and Recitation, Sufism, Tafsir, Islamic Law, and History of Islamic Sects; The Department of Islamic History and Arts includes the departments of Turkish Religious Music, Turkish Islamic Literature, History of Turkish Islamic Arts, and History of Islam.
Our faculty offers thesis and non-thesis master's programs in Philosophy and Religious Sciences, and evening master's programs in Fundamental Islamic Sciences, both with and without thesis.
Our faculty's academic staff consists of 23 faculty members: 3 Professors, 6 Associate Professors, 6 Assistant Professors, 1 Lecturer, and 7 Research Assistants.
