Double Major and Minor Programs
The Department of Business Administration has been offering students the opportunity to gain knowledge and specialization in an additional field of interest through its minor programs since 2005. Applications for the minor programs, which are offered in the fields of Accounting–Finance and Production Management and Marketing, can be submitted in the 3rd and 5th semesters. The quota for each minor program is limited to two students. Applicants must successfully pass the university’s foreign language proficiency exam or obtain a sufficient score from a foreign language exam recognized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Students who complete the minor program receive a minor certificate in addition to their major diploma, thereby gaining expertise in another academic field.
The Department of Business Administration also offers successful students the opportunity to pursue a double major. Students who wish to apply for the double major program must meet the requirements set by the department. Students from all departments may apply starting from the 3rd semester. The total quota for the double major program is limited to four students. Applicants must have successfully completed the university’s foreign language preparatory exam or obtained a sufficient score from any foreign language exam recognized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Students admitted to the double major program earn the right to receive two bachelor's degrees and must successfully fulfill the requirements of both programs.
