Surveys
At the department meeting held on April 17, 2025, it was decided to schedule the surveys that will be conducted with our stakeholders. Accordingly:
-
First-Year Student Survey: To understand the needs and expectations of new first-year students, obtain feedback on their experiences so far, and facilitate their participation in university/campus life as quickly as possible, a survey will be conducted annually for Economics Department first-year students after the university orientation program.
-
Central Course and Instructor Satisfaction Survey: A centralized satisfaction survey covering all courses and instructors is regularly conducted by our university.
-
Fourth-Year Curriculum Survey: To improve the quality of education and training in the undergraduate program offered in our department, a survey regarding the curriculum will be conducted annually with fourth-year students. The survey is designed to assess the knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired by fourth-year students through the educational activities provided.
-
Graduate Survey: To examine how the courses, academic support, and skills acquired by graduates during their education are reflected in the labor market, identify their post-graduation career achievements and challenges, and revise the curriculum accordingly, a survey will be conducted with graduates every five years.
-
Applied Education (Internship/Workplace) Survey: To systematically monitor and improve the quality of applied (internship and workplace) training in our department, the Economics Department Applied Education Survey will be administered to students completing internships at the end of each semester.
