PDCA cycle

As the Faculty of Fisheries at Mersin University, we conduct our educational activities with a continuous improvement mindset within the framework of a quality-focused management approach. Within this context, our quality assurance system, which is carried out based on the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle, aims at institutional development; the effectiveness of processes is regularly monitored and evaluated.

On our faculty website, under the PDCA section, four main areas have been identified to track the reflections of quality processes across the faculty: Leadership-Governance, Education-Teaching, Research-Development, and Social Contribution. Activities carried out under these subheadings are planned, implemented, recorded, and evaluated through performance indicators. Based on the data obtained, systematic improvement and development efforts are undertaken.

The content presented under these headings includes information regarding the planning, implementation, monitoring, and corrective action processes carried out in line with the quality assurance system. It reflects our faculty’s management approach, which is transparent, participatory, and centered on continuous development.
