About Program
The General Psychology program comprehensively addresses the fundamental theoretical framework of psychology, research methods, and the fundamental principles of cognitive-behavioral processes. Our department is actively accepting thesis-based master's and doctoral students in this field.
Students receive in-depth training in a wide range of areas, from cognitive processes to learning, from affect to motivation, and are also heavily supported in research methods, experimental design, and scientific reporting. The department particularly encourages interdisciplinary collaborations and the ability to conduct independent research.
While there is no dedicated laboratory for General Psychology, the university's existing research infrastructure and the laboratories of other departments allow students to conduct experimental and applied projects. This provides a functional environment for conducting comprehensive research at the master's and doctoral levels.
In short, General Psychology, with its active program structure, graduate student admissions, strong theoretical framework, and research-oriented approach, is at the heart of fundamental psychology education and research activities within the university.
