Our quality policy at Mersin University Faculty of Maritime is to train our students as qualified individuals who are knowledgeable in their profession, contribute to society, are environmentally conscious, are researchers and questioners, possess leadership skills, carry social responsibility awareness, think analytically, are inclined toward teamwork, value industry-academia cooperation, and uphold maritime customs and traditions through education programs in compliance with national and international requirements for maritime education. Our Faculty aims to provide competent professionals, sectoral personnel, and managers to the sector by conducting its education and service activities in line with the expectations and needs of the maritime sector and our stakeholders, and to be a pioneer in maritime education and research by carrying out and continuously improving research and development activities and adopting innovative education methods.
