The Department of Internal Medical Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine provides clinical education, research, and patient care services in internal medicine and its related subspecialties. The department encompasses divisions including internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, hematology, nephrology, rheumatology, pulmonology, infectious diseases, dermatology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, psychiatry, and family medicine. Medical students learn basic medical sciences during the first three years, then receive practical clinical training in internal medical sciences through clinical clerkships in years 4 and 5.
