Erasmus+ Program
ERASMUS+ Program
The ERASMUS+ Program is a European Union–funded exchange program that offers students the opportunity to study or complete internships abroad. Through this program, Chemistry students can study at leading universities in Europe, experience different cultures, and gain valuable international experience.
Types of Mobility
1. Study Mobility:
Students can study for one or two semesters at partner universities that have bilateral agreements with our department.
2. Internship Mobility:
Students can complete internships in laboratories, research centers, or industrial organizations abroad to gain professional experience.
Application Requirements
To be eligible for the ERASMUS+ Program, students must meet certain academic criteria:
For 1st-year students: Minimum GPA of 2.20 / 4.00
For other students: Minimum GPA of 2.50 / 4.00
Applications are evaluated based on language proficiency and available quotas. Selected students are eligible to receive ERASMUS+ mobility grants.

Chemistry students can participate in the ERASMUS+ Program through agreements with the following universities:
Spain – Universidad de Zaragoza
Germany – Universität Paderborn

ERASMUS Coordination
The ERASMUS+ Program of the Department of Chemistry is coordinated by
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rukan Suna KARATEKİN and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Göktürk AVŞAR.
Students may contact the ERASMUS Coordination Office for details regarding application, selection, and mobility procedures, and may receive guidance from the coordinators when needed.
