INSTITUTE OF EDUCATIONAL SCIENCES The Institute of Educational Sciences was established on July 28, 2010, pursuant to Article 30 of Law No. 2809. The educational postgraduate programs previously offered by the Institutes of Science, Health Sciences, and Social Sciences were transferred to the Institute of Educational Sciences on November 4, 2010, in accordance with Articles 4 and 7 of the Regulation on the Organization and Operation of Graduate Education Institutes. The Institute offers thesis-based, formal, and evening programs, with or without thesis, and doctoral programs.

The Institute of Educational Sciences aims to train academically qualified researchers and experts by improving the quality of postgraduate education in all its departments. In this regard, it aims to contribute to national development through its education, training, and research activities and to become an institution of national and international prestige at the graduate level.

Our institute offers 11 doctoral programs, 18 thesis-based master's programs, and 20 non-thesis-based master's programs across 10 departments. The Institute of Educational Sciences is located on the ground floor of Block B of the Faculty of Education building on Mersin University's Çiftlikköy Campus.
