The mission of our department is to train technical personnel with knowledge and skills in information technologies fields including computer hardware, software, database management systems, and internet technologies.
Our Vision,
The vision of our department is to train technical personnel who know the basic concepts in information technologies, can participate in software (PC, network environment, and internet) planning and design and conduct teamwork, can perform software installation and testing operations, can take measures regarding data security and storage, can install and use word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, database, and graphic-based design programs and produce applications using the program development modules of these programs, can identify commonly encountered software and hardware faults and produce solutions, can perform hardware discovery and installation, can recognize personal and network operating systems and use common ones, have adopted the total quality philosophy and can support related institutional processes, and observe ethical, health, and safety measures related to their profession.
