Fakülte Hakkında

The Faculty of Fine Arts at Mersin University was established under Law No. 3837, dated July 3, 1992, and education began in the 1993-1994 academic year with the admission of 20 students to the Painting Department. Among the departments included in the establishment law, students were admitted to the Sculpture and Graphic departments in the 1994-1995 academic year, to the Stage Decor and Costume Department in the 1996-1997 academic year, and to the Ceramics and Textile departments in the 2000-2001 academic year, bringing the number of active departments to 6. Students cannot currently be admitted to the Music, Photography, and Stage Decor and Costume departments, including the Cinema Television Department, as they do not currently have sufficient faculty members, equipment, and spaces suitable for their purposes. 

Students are admitted to the departments of our Faculty through the TYT score (minimum 150) and the Special Talent Exam (STE) conducted by our Faculty.
