2024 Satisfaction Surveys
The Faculty results of the university-wide student and academic staff satisfaction surveys carried out in 2024 are summarised below, compared with the university as a whole. Scores range from 1 to 5; a higher score means greater satisfaction.

Student satisfaction
24,700 students across the university and 728 students from the Faculty took part. In the Faculty, "Courses and timetable" and "Teaching staff" received the highest scores (3.45), while "Food services" and "Social and cultural environment" (3.08) received the lowest. Scores of female and male students were very close.

Academic staff satisfaction
535 academic staff across the university and 32 from the Faculty took part (Basic Medical Sciences 12, Surgical Medical Sciences 8, Internal Medical Sciences 5, department not stated 7). The Faculty's overall satisfaction score is 3.19, against a university mean of 3.50; female staff scored 3.24 and male staff 3.14.
