Department graduates can take on roles in the following areas:

  • Health and Pharmaceutical Sector: They can participate in research and product development activities in companies developing vaccines, biotechnological drugs, diagnostic kits, and gene therapies.

  • Food Industry: They can work in fermentation, enzyme production, quality control, and product development units.

  • Agricultural Biotechnology: They can work in areas such as plant breeding, genetic modification, bioweed, and biopesticide production.

  • Environment and Energy Sector: They can take part in biofuel production, waste management, biological treatment, and environmental biotechnology projects.

  • Research and Academia: They can pursue academic careers by continuing their master's and doctoral education at universities and research institutions.

  • Bioinformatics and Data Analytics: They can work on the analysis of genomic, proteomic, and metagenomic data, and in bioinformatics-based R&D studies.
