Mission and Vision

The mission of the Department of International Relations is to provide our students with analytical

thinking ability about the history, functioning, legal structure of the international system,

interstate relations, and Turkey's position within this system. In this context, it aims to raise

knowledgeable, well-equipped, and cultured individuals in the field, and to train multi-dimensional,

creative, questioning, and self-confident students against current issues. Additionally, ensuring

that our students step into business life with a "quality-oriented, innovative and entrepreneurial"

perspective equipped with analytical thinking skills is among our important goals.

VISION

The Department of International Relations aims to offer a libertarian, innovative, and sustainable

education to its students by acting with a quality-oriented management approach that values

institutional culture. In this framework, while providing a solid education in fields such as history,

foreign policy, and political science, it also aims to enable students to approach national and global

issues with an interdisciplinary perspective by providing sufficient knowledge in sociology and

economics. In this respect, the Department of International Relations has adopted the vision of

being one of the leading programs in its region.
