Vision

The Department of Chemistry aims to become a nationally and internationally respected and leading academic unit through a research-oriented and student-centered educational approach.

Our vision is to contribute to the advancement of our university and our country through scientific, technological, and innovative R&D activities, while educating students who are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to compete globally and to represent our university successfully on international platforms.

Mission

The mission of the Department of Chemistry is to conduct research that advances the field of chemistry, to provide educational programs aligned with contemporary needs, and to train creative, innovative chemists who can think critically, analytically, and multidimensionally; who adhere to scientific ethics and social values; and who possess effective communication skills.

In this context, our primary goal is to educate graduates at both undergraduate and graduate levels who are not only well-grounded in professional knowledge but also capable of transferring their expertise to real-life and industrial applications, contributing to sustainable development, and embracing a culture of research and innovation.
